Editorial Comment: Burning churches in the present in response to grievances tied to acts of the past is inexcusable. It is indefensible. It is wrong. Leftists whose aim it is to purge faith from human culture are using recent findings as a justification for actions that simply cannot be justified. Two wrongs never make a right.
There is a clearly observable pattern in the behaviors of leftists. They stir anger within and among people to bring about acts of violent destruction with a specific aim. Their objective is to destroy family relationships and faith beliefs. In so doing, they intend to achieve victory in their goal of a Marxist revolution.
We can take steps to protect our families and our churches, and should increase security precautions while we also call for the assistance of law enforcement alongside the appropriate and constructive intervention of our politicians and policy makers.
We should always encourage the peaceful reconciliation of all people.
