The Loss of Scientific Integrity
Science should never be driven by the pursuit of political fortune, and it should never be a victim to the loss of scientific integrity. Without bias, it should be committed to the finding of facts, and the building of human civilization’s library of knowledge. The knowledge we gain in exploration should guide us with information, help us to develop ideas dedicated to the protection and preservation and advancement of life, and deepen the understanding we have of ourselves, the world in which we live, and the greater universe of which we are a part.
All that having been said… We should be deeply concerned presently by what appears to be the degradation of scientific integrity, a willingness to exert political pressure designed to influence scientists, their work and the interpretations of their findings, and even threats of harm to those whose views differ from those who are part of a larger political agenda.

Quote from the Article: “I was threatened and ostracized because I proposed another hypothesis,” Redfield told Vanity Fair. “I expected it from politicians. I didn’t expect if from science.”

Another stellar example of government putting politics ahead of science comes from Dr. J. Marvin Herndon, a remarkable earth and space scientist who committed the unpardonable sin of putting science above the corrupt and deadly political storyline of NASA regarding geoenginerring and weather modification. Examples just like this are legion throughout the scientific community, and it has become the new normal to condition science and discovery on the whims and political aspirations of corrupt politicians and government officials.
Where once you could trust scientists to do actual science, you now have to question every “discovery”, every theory, and every proclamation made by them as to whether the information is genuine or was driven by government research dollars with a predetermined outcome.
Posted at Nuclear Planet: “Trump Administration Begins to Recognize the Loss of Scientific Integrity: Refuting a Political Hit Job” By J. Marvin Herndon, PhD
Quote from the Article, originally published in the Advances in Social Sciences Research Journal: “The article presupposes the wide-spread existence of scientific integrity among federal scientists, which I refute based upon documented 40+ years’ experience making fundamental scientific discoveries which the scientific establishment systematically ignores and in instances has attempted to suppress.”
We will pay a great price for the tragedy that even the scientific community is entangled in the corruption of a vastly oversized and all-too-powerful federal government.
